Song of the week: Oh You Pretty Things, David Bowie

height="285">

In choosing my Sunday song, it was brought to my attention that Bowie's Space Oddity is 40 years old. Good Grief.

Ramble:

Not much to say-- I tuned out the news this week. Contacted Geoff Davis' office to find out why he hasn't held any town hall meetings and it turns out the man had surgery. I'll cut him slack.

My focus has been on reading... our history... I had to read it a few times, but Federalist Papers #50 struck a cord.

IT MAY be contended, perhaps, that instead of OCCASIONAL appeals to the people, which are liable to the objections urged against them, PERIODICAL appeals are the proper and adequate means of PREVENTING AND CORRECTING INFRACTIONS OF THE CONSTITUTION.

Go read it here.

I have also been working on my tribute for Project 2996. Pretty weak turn out this year--- less than 600. Pretty disappointing. I have been doing research on Hilda Marcin-- What a lovely lady-- good German stock-- immigrated to this country and embraced all that the United States has to offer.

Please.. please go sign up. It is important to never forget.

Rob, (Yes, I'm calling you out and not because you left no less than a half dozen voice messages this week for Freecreditreport.com) I would love and appreciate it if you would go over and sign up and repost your tribute to Joyce Stanton.

Have a great week everyone!
